"Keeping American history alive, one good book at a time!"

Notes for Eliza CLARK

C.C. Gardner, page 151; GMNJ 7:97, 102. "Both daughters lived at Kinderhook
until after the death of their parents, when they removed to New York City.
They invariably replied to letters of inquiry that they did not know the
names of their father's brothers who were in the Revolutionary War. Both
left wills in which they disposed of personal property and a few thousand
dollars in cash legacies to their Beekman relatives and to charities."
