Roland Arrow Reinhart
Roland Arrow Reinhart, 62, a resident of Bend for 45 years and owner
of Rollie's Jewelry on Wall Street, died Thursday at St. Charles Medical
Center. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pilot
Butte Cemetery, with the Rev. D. L. Penhollow officiating. Burial will
be in Pilot Butte Cemetery.
Mr. Reinhart was born to Lee H. and Gladys D. Dickinson Reinhart on
Feb. 10, 1918, in Ortonville, Minn. He came to Bend in August 1935 and
received his watchmaker's license in 1947. The oldest watchmaker in
Central Oregon, he worked for Symons Jewelry for many years before
opening his own shop in October, 1958.
He had been a member of the First Christian Church and the Boy
Scouts of America. He had been past President of the Bend Jaycees and
the Kenwood-Kingston PTA. He also had coached Little League.
Survivors include his wife, Wilmetta of Bend, whom he married here
on March 28, 1943; a son, Ken of Prineville; a daughter, Carol of
Carlton; three brothers: Arnold and Roger, both of Bend and Lee of
Quartz Hill, Calif.; four sisters: Mrs. Wayne (Virginia) Hamilton and
Mrs. Leslie (Neola) Ross, both of Bend; Mrs. Drannan (Beverly) Hamby of
McMinnville and Mrs. Howard (Bernadine) Besson of Riverside, Calif.; and
his mother, Mrs. Gladys Reinhart of Bend.
He was preceded in death by his father in November 1966.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetic Association.
