Alyce J. Reinhart
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Pilot Butte
Cemetery for Alyce Jean Reinhart of Bend.
Mrs. Reinhart died Sunday at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Treatment Center
in Swedish Hospital in Seattle following a prolonged illness. She was 48.
The Rev. Howard Heimbuch will officiate.
Mrs. Reinhart was born June 1, 1939, in Nampa, Idaho, to Dallas and
Clara (Adams) Grant. The family moved to Madras where she graduated from
Madras High School in 1947.
On July 2, 1961, she married Arnold Reinhart in Madras. The
Reinharts had made their home in Bend since their marriage.
She was a cabinet maker for Fuqua Homes for 16 years.
She was an active member of Mountain View Booster Club and a member
of the Thursday Night Bowling League. She also attended the Church of
the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband, Arnie; three sons, Ty of Bend, Troy
of Roseburg and Tod of Corvallis; a brother, Ellery Grant of Madras; a
sister, Barbara Hyatt of Ashland; and her mother, Clara Grant of
Ryderwood, Wash.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Fred Hutchinson Research
Center, 1124 Columbia, Seattle 98104.
