Mrs. Dickinson, Foxhome, Dies
Death Occurred Sunday At Daughter's Home - Funeral Services Tuesday
Mrs. Sadie Dickinson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy
Trantham on Sunday morning, September 16, at 3:30 a.m., after a long
illness. She was born in Missouri March 11, 1869, and moved to Iowa when
a small child. She was united in marriage to William Dickinson, Dec. 18,
1892. Eight children were born to this union of whom three preceeded her
in death. Two sons, three daughters and her husband survive, Walter and
Maynard of Foxhome, Mrs. Lee Reinhart (Gladys) of Bend, Oregon, Mrs. Ira
Packer (Josephine) and Mrs. Roy Trantham (Monoata) of Foxhome, and her
husband, William Dickinson of Foxhome. Eleven grandchildren and two
great grandchildren also survive.
She was a member of the Congregational church for many years.
She has been in poor health the past years and has been confined to
her bed the past six months.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at two o'clock at the Burau church,
Rev. Thoreson officiating. Burial will be held at the Burau cemetery.
