Notes for Walter Trent DICKINSON


From the Fergus Falls, Minnesota nwespaper:
Walter Dickinson services Saturday
Walter T. Dickinson, 80, former resident of Foxhome, died Wednesday
at the Gearhart Nursing Home in Battle Lake. Services will be held at 2
p.m. Saturday at the Foxhome Methodist Church with the Rev. Royal Steiner
officiating. Burial will follow in the Burau Cemetery in Foxhome.
He was born April 27, 1894, in Spencer, Iowa, the son of Mr. and
Mrs. William Dickinson. The family moved to Foxhome in 1910. He was a
veteran of World War I, serving in France. He was a member of the
Rothsay VFW and the Veterans of World War I. He worked for the Wilkin
County Highway Department. He never married.
He is survived by one brother, Maynard, Foxhome; and one sister,
Mrs. Gladys Reinhart, Bend, Ore. Friends may call at the Olson Funeral
Home.
