Barnesville Woman Dies At Moorhead
Mrs. Roy Trantham Leaves Husband, Two Daughters and One Son
Mrs. Roy Trantham 52, of Barnesville passed away at a Moorhead
hospital Sunday afternoon. She had been admitted there on Friday.
Monoata Dickinson was born October 11, 1903, in Spencer, Ia.,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dickinson. In 1909 she moved with her
family to Foxhome where they lived for many years. She was a graduate of
Fergus Falls high school and the Park Region normal school here. On July
10, 1924 she married Roy Trantham at Benson. She was a member of the
Methodist church at Foxhome.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mr. William Antil
(Lorraine) and Helen Trantham and one son, Robert, all of Barnesville,
two brothers, Walter and Maynard Dickinson of Foxhome and two sisters,
Mrs. Lee Reinhart (Gladys) of Bend, Ore., and Mrs. Ira Packer (josephine)
of Barnesville.
The date of the funeral has not as yet been designated, but the
Collins Funeral Home of Barnesville is in charge of arrangements.
