Notes for John DAVIS

John Davis in his early manhood was a grocer in New York City. In 1826
he bought the farm on the corner of Broad Street and Springfield
Avenue, below the Fairview Cemetery, from the executors of Ezekiel
Marsh and lived there until his death in 1850.
