Gideon Keyt removed from Westfield to Lodi, Seneca Co., NY in 1821;
from there in June 1828 to Mentor, Lake Co., Ohio; from there in 1832
to Gates Mills, Ohio. He was a farmer and shoemaker by trade, a member
of the M. E. Church and a Democrat in his political opinions.
