Notes for Eli MARSH

Eli Marsh was a cabinet maker and undertaker in Westfield. His house
stood where Broad St. and Harrison Ave. unite. It is said that he
buried 1500 persons in the old graveyard. He married 1st Sarah,
daughter of David Briant; married 2nd Elizabeth, daughter of James
Mooney.
