Notes for Hezekiah Stites WOODRUFF

Hezekiah Stites Woodruff was born in Westfield; brought up by his
mother's brother Dr. Hezekiah Stites at Cranbury, NJ. He practiced
medicine at Mendham, Pennington and Succasunna. He was a surgeon in
the Army during the War of the Revolution. He is buried in Succasunna,
NJ. Married 1st Mary, daughter of Ebenezer Blachly, M.D.; married 2nd
Elizabeth, widow of Jacob Dufford.
