Correspondence from Nancy Jane Miller, granddaughter of Sarah Jane Oliver,
says Sarah Jane was an orphan at the time of marriage.
Her family information is that "James' mother was at least Part American
Indian. James was born in 1841, and died (or otherwise departed) before
1870."
