Notes for Benjamin CRANE

Woodruff Chronicles II, page 15 says he died in his 71st year. Tombstone
(W&H) #151. "Littell (in one of many errors) stated that Benjamin and
Esther had no children. The Crane Genealogy accounts for two: . . "
Harold Frederic Powell Genealogy (1991), page 115, has Matthias Crane, son
of John and Esther (Norris) Crane, as married to Esther Woodruff. It appears
this is in error as to name of mother and son.
