Notes for Stephen WOODRUFF

Woodruff Chronicles, II, page 174. "His son Stephen 7, by Probate Action
became a Ward of Daniel Pierson". They went to Scotch Plains (Baptist Church
record), dismissed to Redstone, Pa., left Redstone and finally settled on
Clough Creek, Anderson Twp., Hamilton Co., Ohio. These are the direct
ancestors of the late Stephen A. Woodruff of Chicago, who published "Woodruff
Log" and who incorrectly identified "Nathaniel (4) Woodruff of Ashswamp".
