Notes for Thomas Woodruff CLARK

C.C.Gardner, Collections Vol. 29, Clark, p.131. Last Will, dated at Savannah
7 April 1845 and probated 18 April 1845, names nephew Edward Young Clark,
minor son of brother John M. Clark, Eliza Clark "my wife's sister" and wife
Abby, children Addison Scudder Clerk and Thomas Homer Clark. Mentions his
deceased sister Mrs. Theophilus Pierson, of N.J.
He was named in Will of his grandfather, Jesse Clark. N.J. Cal. Wills,
1814-1817, page 83.
In view of date of baptism, and date of marriage of his parents, it is more likely that his birth date was 27 Dec 1788 than 27 Dec 1787 as sometimes seen.
