OBITUARY-
ENOCH C. SUTTON
After a long and useful life, filled with good deeds and charitable acts,
Enoch C. Sutton passed away last night at 11 o'clock. The deceased was 82 years of age, and for 40 years of this time had been a resident of Perry Township.
He was known all the country round as "Uncle Clark," and his constant deeds
of charity are a part of this county's history.
It is said that he reared more than 40 children besides his own to maturity.
The state of his birth was New Jersey, but the greater part of his life has
been spent in Indiana.
He leaves a family of several daughters.
The funeral will occur tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. The burial will occur in Philadelphia Cemetery in Perry Township.

Trying to find anyone researching Enoch Sutton and family. The 1860 Delaware Co., In, Perry Twp census list Enoch C Sutton 48, Mary 49, Elias 25, James 20, Elizabeth 18, Susannah 16. Enoch was born in KY, Mary in VA and the children were born in OH.
I'm trying to find if this Elizabeth Sutton is the same Elizabeth Sutton who married William Mcallister(McCollister) in 1864 in Delaware Co., IN. Any help would be greatly apppreciated.
