Will dated Feb. 10, 1794, proved Aug. 12, 1795. N.J.A. 37:75. Absracted as: wife, Mary, use of real and personal estate during her life; son, Samuel,, 1/4 acre thereon his house stands on north side of the Raritan Road; sons, Enoch, Thomas and Samuel,
residue of real estate, including salt meadow in Great Meadow, formerly belonging to Andrew Craig, Jr, by meadow of Daniel Terrill Craig; movables to be sold after wife's decease; to heirs of daughter Rhoda Berbound, dec'd (formerly wife of David
Bercount), 5 shillings; to heirs of daughter, Elizabeth Hand, dec'd (formerly wife of John Hand), 5 shillings; 3 daughters, Margaret Marsh (formerly wife of Abraham Marsh, dec'd), Hannah Craig (wife of Daniel Craig), and Abigail Gilman (wife of

This couple's children as listed in the order named in Reuben's will, (with sons named first, then daughters) and are not necessarily in birth order.

"For Do. Pd. Ruth Clark for nursing testator" is found in list of accounts after Mr. Clark's death.
See Essex County Orphan's Court Book A, p. 123 for disposal of lands of
Reuben Clark by his executors to raise 55 pounds to cover his debts.
Land was six acres "on the north side of the Raritan Road."
Inventory was taken 20 June 1795.
