Will book 3, p. 556, 1871, Lexington County Clerk's office - Judith Clark, of the city of Lexington; debts and funeral expenses paid; whole and residue of estate (real, personal and mixed) to "only and beloved child" Sarah E. Carr"; at Sarah's
death residue to her grandchildren "as further evidence of my affection for my daughter Sarah E. Carr" she is named executrix, no surety required. Signed 29 October 1870, witnesses R. T. Anderson and J. H. Baker. Will admittted to probate 30 May 1874.
Possibly had daughters Abigail [c. 1841] who marrieedd John G. Tibbett, and
Judith [c. 1843].
