Notes for Martha J. CLARK


Will book 9, p. 545, Fayette County clerk's office. Martha J. Kidd. Of Lexington, Kentucky, revotes all previous, debts and funeral expenses paid, property sold and executors to purchase small home for daughter Fannie Cluke (at cost of 2 - 3
thousand dollars). Residue divided between Clark Kidd, F. P. Kidd, Joseph E. Kidd, Mrs. Annie Bell, Mrs. Fannie Cluke, Mrs. Sewall, share and share alike. Share of son Joseph in trust, executors to invest it, principle not to be reduced unless
necessary. P. C. Kidd is deceased, his children already provided for "better than any of my children or grandchildren" and she also advanced him, during his lifetime, more than would have been his part of estate. Fannie to receive more because the
other children approve and they have received more than her. All household furniture and personal effects divided among children. Executors Clark Kidd and F. P. Kidd, no security. Signed 24 March 1897 "Mrs. M. J. Kidd". Witnesses W. D. Bryant and Chas.
Kerr. Admitted to probate 14 July 1904.
Middle name perhaps "Jane."
