1. William Rowland Sr. Born on 12 Jul 1796 in Somerset Co., NJ. William died in Edgar Co., IL on 10 Oct 1882; he was 86.
On 8 May 1817 when William was 20, he married Rhoda Woodruff, daughter of Demas Woodruff (9 Jan 1769-1810) & Abigail Valentine (31 Mar 1773-1810), in Hamilton Co., OH. Born on 26 Nov . Rhoda died on 4 Sep in Shelby Co., OH.
They had the following children:

2. Elizabeth Rowland. Born on 28 Nov 1833 in Ohio. Elizabeth died in Edgar Co., IL on 11 Apr 1913; she was 79.
On 24 Oct 1850 when Elizabeth was 16, she married William Henry Wheeler, son of Zadock Wheeler (c. 1775-Oct 1845) & Zipporah Schoolfield, in Edgar Co., IL. Born on 24 Oct 1824. William Henry died in Edgar Co., IL on 19 Apr 1879; he was 54.
They had the following children:

ii. Flora Alice.

v. Violet. The youngest child. On 11 Oct 1897 Violet married Richard A Sine, in Edgar Co., IL.

3. Isaac 'Ike' Rowland. Isaac 'Ike' died on 12 Mar 1905 in Logan Co., Arkansas.

On 30 Apr 1871 Isaac 'Ike' married Lucinda Mock Childress, in Edgar Co., IL. Born in 1839. Lucinda Mock died in 1917; she was 78.
They had one child:
i. Cora. Born in Sep 1881 in Arkansas. Cora had a half sister, Ida.
Third Generation
4. Mary Eleanor Wheeler. Born on 31 Dec 1856 in Edgar Co., Illinois. Mary Eleanor died in Edgar Co., Illinois in Jan 1943; she was 86.
On 7 Sep 1875 when Mary Eleanor was 18, she married Lafayette Sims, son of John P. Sims (18 Jul 1824-3 Mar 1876) & Mary Eleanor Miller (12 Feb 1828-12 Dec 1902), in Edgar Co., Illinois. Born on 26 Nov 1853 in Edgar Co., Illinois. Lafayette died in
Edgar Co., Illinois on 11 May 1908; he was 54. probably died from tuberculosis.
Went to Kansas in 1882 where son, Isaac died. The family returned to Elbridge Twshp., in 1886

ii. Frank M.. Born in Kansas. Frank M. married Dorothy Marrs.
Dorothy and her only child died at the birth of the child.

5. Grace Elizabeth Sims. Born on 15 Jan 1888 in Edgar Co., Illinois. Grace Elizabeth died in Wolf Point, McCone Co., Montana in 1978; she was 89.
Went to Montana to marry Linder Hanks in 1912
On 8 Oct 1913 when Grace Elizabeth was 25, she married Linder Chloral Hanks, son of Henderson Jackson Hanks (28 Feb 1854-11 Mar 1886) & Mary Alice Brown (1854-1882), in Glascow, Montana. Born on 27 Oct 1880 in Edgar Co., Illinois. Linder Chloral died
in Wolf Point, Montana on 17 Mar 1953; he was 72.
