Notes for William MILLER

Marsh Family Bulletin, page 76, lists Hannah Marsh, married William Miller and had twelve children:
Ephraim [3602]; John [3603] who married Hannah Tucker; Noah [3604] who died 1725; married ___ Ludlow and had six children; Ezra [3605]; Nancy [3606] married her cousin Noah Crane; Samuel [3607] married Sabra Coddington and had seven children; William
[3608] md; married Massey (Mercy) Ridiri and had five children;
Clark [3609] married 1st ___ Cory; 2nd Sally Miller, s/p; Mary [3610] resided at Westfield, N.J.; married Charles Gilman; Marsh [3611] married Betsey Corey; Sabra [3612] married Daniel Peavine; Hannah [1813] married 1st Daniel Clark [1814] 2nd. Col.
Jacob Crane [1815].
[Note: Marsh's reference to "Ridiri" is in error; she was Massy Raddin.]
But See N.J. Calendar of Wills 1781-1785, page 275. 1782, Feb. 2, Miller, William, lists wife, Phebe, sons Samuel and William; daughters, Elizabeth, Hannah and Mary, and grandson Noah Crane, son of deceased daughter, Joannah, and to the children
of daughter Phebe Cory.
It appears that Marsh's listing of Samuel [3607] as a son, is correct, but Sabra Coddington as his wife is probably not correct. Clark Miller, Marsh Miller, Sabra Perine, Mary Gilman, and Hannah Clark are actually children of Samuel, and
grandchildren of this William. See N.J. Calendar of Wills, page 275, 1782, Feb. 16 Miller, Samuel.
See Photo of gravestone taken August, 1992.
