C.C.Gardner, Collections Vol. 29, Clark, p.129; named (as "Dayton") in Will
of his grandfather, Jesse Clark, N.J. Cal. Wills 1814-1817, page 82.
Deed of Lewis Clark to Ephraim Clark 1853 names brother "Dayton" as being
deceased as of that date.
Called "Dayton" in will of grandfather Jesse Clark.
Various websites claim he died in 1828, but offer no proof.
