Notes for Thomas Homer CLARK


He is mentioned in Will of his father, Thomas Woodruff Clark (#2701).
Mr. Clark kept a store in Westfield and later moved to Jersey City, where he
was in the employ of the American Sugar Refining Company.
Mr. Clark was listed as a Messenger Clerk in the 1900 Census of Jersey City.
In 1889- Jersey City directory he was listed as a driver at 248 Coles.
On 17 October 1878 Mary E. Clark (wife of Thomas H. Clark) and Thomas H. Clark of the Township of Westfield deeded a plot in Westfield to Anna Elizabeth Webb of the Township of Westfield. This was located "on Rahway Road, near the lot of John N.
Wilcox, corner of lot of Samuel M. Foster, a new street called Union St. proposed to be laid out" (abstract of deed on file).
