Notes for Levi CORY

Vol. 14, American Families, Gen. & Heraldic, pages 287-288. "He became the
owner of the home farm in 1867, and gave his after life to its cultivation.
He was a Republican in politics, served as a member of the township
committee of Westfield, was an elder of the Presbyterian Chuch, and a man of
high character." Describes Harriet B. Clark as "of Rahway."
In late 2013 the Levi Cory house was moved from its original location to a
site adjacent to the Deacon Andrew Hetfield House, thus saving it from demo.
