Mrs. Sarah Pierson, wife of the late Oliver M. Pierson, died at her home, 550 New York avenue, on Friday morning, aged 82 years. Mrs. Pierson had been a resident of this town for over fifty years. She is survived by three children, a son, David T., of
Morristown and two daughters, Harriet and Mary C., who resided with their mother. The funeral was held at the Pierson home on Monday afternoon, and was conducted by the Rev. Dr. W.I. Steans, pastor of the Presbyterian church, of which Mrs. Pierson had
been a member for many years. Interment at Fairview.
