Notes for James B. (Bishop?) CLARK

According to the Elizabethtown Sexton's book Mr. Clark was "Killed by being thrown from his waggon [sic] on Newark Turnpike the horses being frightened at a locomotive".
*****
Dr. Charles Davis and Margaret H. Clark were adminsters of James Clark's estate and guardians of children. There was no will, and there is an administrators bond signed by both parties 10 February 1845. James was likely of Elizabethtown....information
at NJSA difficult to read. Clark Brown mentioned in list of debts; there is also a huge list of accounts. Jeremiah H. Clark was also mentioned.
