Ezra Clark, of Highland, this county, died on last Wednesday night, and was interred in the cemetery just north of that village on Thursday afternoon. He was a good citizen and for many years a resident of this township. He was born in Ohio in 1811,
and moved to Vermillion County in 1832, where he spent the remainder of his days. His disease was flux, and he was only ill about 2 weeks. His second wife, whom he married a few years ago, committed suicide on last March 13th by drowning herself in the
Wabash River just above the I.D. & W. Railroad bridge. Her body was found a few hours afterwards, lodged against a clump of willow bushes just below the railroad bridge.
