Notes for Arent (Aaron) DE CAMP

Supposedly married Hannah Clark, daughter of Daniel Clark, as his second
wife. See Littell p. 67. But this may be in error. Was her name Mary Clark?
1788, Dec. 24. De Camp, Aaron, of Essex Co., Int. Adm'rs - Mary De Camp and
John De Camp; both of said Co. Fellowbondsman - Nathaniel Littell, of Morris
Co. [Liber 38, p. 97]
Littell states that his widow married Deacon Andrew Connet. A check of the will abstracts revealed:
1802, Jan. 8, Connet, Mary,of Mendham, Morris Co., Int., widow. Adm'r - Lot D'Camp, of New York City. Fellowbondsmen - Nathaniel Armstrong and William Hudson; both of said Co. [Liber 39, p. 535]
1802, Jan. 6. Inventory, $422.49; made by Henry Axtel and Nathaniel Armstrong. [File 1100N]
