Mrs. Elizabeth Clark, who has been making her home for someime with F.M. Davis and family, died quite suddenly on last Friday night. She was past 80 years of age, and had been a resident of this county since 1830. She moved here from Ohio. The funeral
was preached at Vermillion Chapel at 12 o'clock noon, on Sunday last by Rev. C.L. Harper, pastor of the M.E. Church, after which her remains were interred by the side of her husband, in the cemetery near the church. She had been a member of the M.E.
Church for 60 years.
