Samuel Clark, who was making his home with his daughter at Newman, IL, died last Wednesday morning of heart disease. Mr. Clark was born in Ohio in 1828, and moved to this county in 1831, where he has practically lived ever since until his death. He was
an honest and honorable old man, and by his death a good citizen is lost. The funeral services were held at the house Thursday, Rev. J.E. Wright officiating. The interment took place in Vermillion Chapel.
