George W. Clark died at 8 o'clock on Tuesday night of last week, aged 57 years. He was only ill about 2 weeks, and was not considered dangerously ill until the day before his death. He was subject to cramping spells and took down with one at the
beginning of his illness. But his main ailment seemed to be erysipelas. His funeral took place on Wednesday last, his remains being taken charge of by the Masonic fraternity, of which order he was a member. He leaves his wife and daughter in
comfortable circumstances.
