Notes for A. E. NOE

http://boards.ancestry.com/thread.aspx?mv=flat&m=650&p=surnames.noe [accessed 6/25/12]:
Tim, Alpheus is probably the son of Benjamin Marsh Noe and Abigail Higgens Brookfield. They were married in 1822 in Rahway, New Jersey, and in 1850 moved to Marshall County, Illinois, where Benjamin died in 1851. They are recorded as having six
children, Alpheus, Lafayette, Erastus, Mary Louise, Catherine Adella, and Sarah Louisa Brewster. Alpheus was born in 1822. Abigail died in 1880 and her obituary mentions that her son A. E. was living in Ohio. While I cannot say with absolute certainty,
that A. E. was the Alpheus who was living in Morrow Co., all the pieces fit. I would like very much to know more about Alpheus. He is an almost blank spot in the Noe family history I am currently compiling.

1850 census of Franklin County, Ohio seems to indicate taht he was the son of Jonathan and Ruth Noe.
