Notes for Eben BROWN

Son of David Brown (1774-1828) and Elizabeth Wells (d.1827).
Grandson of John Brown and Rebeckah Yates (d. 1796), his wife, m. 1754. This
John Brown (1729-1786) served as private in Burke County, Georgia Militia,
under the command of Col. Elijah Clarke. He was born in Scotland; died in
Burke County, Ga. DAR Lineage Book 78:291.
