Winans, James Cole. Son, Jeremiah W. Clark, the other 1/2 part of same; also a lot bequeathed to Job Clark (son of James Clark), by will of Jeremiah Clark, dec'd. Said sons to pay bequests. Sons, Moses Marsh Clark and Abner Winans Clark, each $50 when

1814, Jan. 23. Olliver, Jonathan, of Rahway Twsp., Essex Co.; will of. "Wife, Margaret, in lieu of dower, all household goods which be-
longed to her at our marriage; one bed, one cow, one hog, 6 fowls,
iron pot and kettle; during widowhood, use of room in dwelling
house; % of garden and barn, firewood, use of horse and riding
chair; also the negro girl named Rachel, until she is 38 at which
time she is to be manumitted. Son, Anthony, wearing apparel.
Grandson, Hampton Oliver Clark (son of my dec'd daughter, Mar-
garet), lot of salt meadow purchased of his father, Jeremiah Clark,
dec'd, in Elizabeth Town Meadows. To each of other grandsons,
Joseph Latham Clark, and Jeremiah "Wood Clark (sons of same), $25
one year after my decease; but if either should die without issue,
said legacy to survivor. Daughter, Betsey (present wife of Isaac
Cole), $125. Granddaughter, Sarah Morse "Wood (present wife of
Isaac "Wood), $25. Son, Anthony, any residue after debts are paid.
Executors — brother-in-law, Anthony Morse, and my son, Anthony
Olliver. Witnesses — John Mun, Morris Frazee, Jonah Cooper. Proved
May 27, 1815.
1815, Feb. 2. Inventory, $1,163.07; male by Joseph Clarke, John

1815, Mar. 3. Olliver, Margaret*, of Rahway Twsp., Essex Co.,
relict of Jonathan Oliver; will of. Two sisters, Sarah (wife of
Nathaniel "^Vinans), and Lydia Green, all real estate, house and barn
and 5% acres in Lyons Farms adjoining "William Meeker (late prop-
erty of Stephen Hinds, dec'd); also all moveable property and wear-
ing apparel, after debts are paid. This bequest to said sisters is to
enable them to maintain and provide for our mother [unnamed].
Executors — sisters, Lydia Green and Sarah "Winans. Witnesse-s —
John Mann, Anthony Morse, Anthony Olliver. Proved June 3, 1815,
when Sarah Winans*, signed as Executrix.

"Hannah" must have been the second wife of Jeremiah Clark, as deduced from the will of Jonathan Oliver.

John Marsh Clark was the administrator of the estate of his brother Joshua Clark in 1801.

Inscription on tombstone in Rahway Cemetery:
In Memory of John Marsh Clark
Who Died Aug. 11, 1854
In the 67th year of his age.
The years roll round and steal away
The breath that first they gave;
Whate'er we do, where'er we be,
We're trav'lling to the grave.

Mr. Clark was the executor of the will of John M. Clark in 1806.
Mr. Clark left detailed will 12491G, Essex Co., NJ 1834. Executors were wife
Sarah and sons Joseph, John, Amos, Abraham, Robert and Aaron.
