Notes for Squire PIERSON

Ross Family, No. 1274, pages 188-189. He is buried with both wives. When
most of his family moved to Butler Co., Ohio, Squire remained at Westfield,
where he was a farmer and tailor. For 46 years he was a Deacon and Elder at
the Westfield Presbyterian Church. In 1860 he was on the Town Committee.
Westfield Church Records, page 452, marriage to Abigail Marsh.
Funeral records mention "Abigail, wife of Squire Pierson" who died
24 July 1867 at age 83. Not sure how she fits into this family.
