Mrs. Hannah Margaret Clark died yesterday morning at her home in Stanley Oval, in the eightieth year of her age.
Mrs. Clark was the daughter of Robert R. Johnston, who moved here from New York in 1857, and purchased the house now occupied by the Westfield Golf Club, and remodeled it to its present style.
Mrs. Clark was the widow of J. Lawrence Clark, whom she married in 1863, and who died several years ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and within a few years was an active worker in the several departments of the church.
There are four surviving children, Miss Mary G. Clark, Mrs. M. Albert Harris and Lawrence A. Clark, of Westfield, and James Montgomery Clark, of Charleston, West Virginia.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock, from her late home, and will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. W.I. Steans, D.D., assisted by Dr. Lyman Calkins. Interment will be made in the family plot in Fairview cemetery.
