Notes for John CABLE

Perhaps of Orange County, New York. See 1865 Census.
I've been researching this on my own since 2006 and quite honestly didn't even know until last month that my great great grandmother's maiden name was Cable. Her parents, it seems likely, were John and Elizabeth from Orange county, NY. John was married
first to Lucy Ross, secondly to Elizabeth ________. Census records for John Cable have him living in Monroe 1810, 1830, 1840, 1850, 1855, 1860.

There as a man named John Cable who died 11/26/1862 in Newburgh, Orange Co.,
NY, but his widow was Mary C. Cable, and his only surviving child was Eliza
Belden Cable. Odd.
