23. Samuel LUM (Samuel LUM4, Samuel LUM3, Joanna STRICKLAND2, John STRICKLAND1) was born Abt 1697 in Southampton, Suffolk, Long Island, New York, and died 8 Feb 1733 in Connecticut Farms, Essex, New Jersey. He married Martha CLARK Abt 1721, daughter of
John CLARK and Martha FRAZEE. She was born 2 Nov 1701 in Elizabethtown, Union, New Jersey, and died 1749 in Lyons Farm, Essex, New Jersey.


Children of Samuel LUM and Martha CLARK are:
24 i. Hannah LUM was born 8 Sep 1724 in Elizabethtown, Union, New Jersey, and died Unknown.
+ 25 ii. John LUM was born 20 Mar 1726 in Elizabethtown, Union, New Jersey, and died 22 Jun 1802 in Connecticut Farms, Essex, New Jersey.
+ 26 iii. Samuel LUM was born 15 Aug 1727 in Elizabethtown, Union, New Jersey, and died Unknown.
27 iv. David LUM was born 16 Dec 1729 in Elizabethtown, Union, New Jersey, and died 17 Nov 1772. He married Phebe BOWERS 10 Nov 1751. She was born Abt 1733, and died Unknown.
28 v. Mary LUM was born 12 May 1732 in Elizabethtown, Union, New Jersey, and died Unknown in Lyons Farm, Essex, New Jersey. She married Benjamin LYON 18 Nov 1747 in 1st Presbyterian Church, Morristown, Morris, New Jersey, son of Benjamin LYON and
Mrs. Benjamin LYON. He was born Abt 1731 in Lyons Farm, Essex, New Jersey, and died 8 Dec 1803 in Elizabethtown, Union, New Jersey.
On 28 February 1732/3 Samuel Lum of Elizabeth Town made his will. All just
debts were to be discharged, son John Lum was given the homestead plantation
[except for 20 acres which were to go to daughters Hannah and Mary], sons
Samuel and David land in ----- -----, daughter Hannah twn acres of land,
dearly beloved wife Martha to receive the improvement or profits of all land
until sons are 21 and daughters are eighteen. Wife Martha executrix.
