C.C.Gardner, page 49. "His will shows that he was a farmer in the 'Borough of Elizabeth', which then included practically all of what is now Union County. He probably lived at Rahway. His will, which names wife Mary and eight children, was dated
June 27, 1758 and probated March 12, 1759."

Abraham Clark, Jun.; On 12 March 1759 Lewis Mulford and Abraham Clark, Jun. attested to the soundness of mind of Joshua Clark when he made out his will. One would think that some of his daughters would have been married by 1758. Perhaps they were, and
he just didn't mention their married names?
