Notes for Emily Augusta CLARK


From the WESTFIELD LEADER of Wednesday, March 4, 1925:
Miss Emily A. Clark, formerly of 212 Prospect Street, this Town, died at her home in Nutley Sunday following a brief illness. Miss Clark was a sister of the late Miss Phebe A. Clark who died here Dec. 9, 1924.
Miss Clark was born in Elizabeth and was the daughter of the late Amos and Sally Meeker Clark, and a sister of the late Congressman Amos Clark. She resided in Westfield for many years. She is survived by a sister Mrs. Elizabeth Hunter of
Tarrytown, N.Y."
Listed as "Annie A. Clark" in 1870 census, when she lived with father and
siblings in Elizabeth, NJ.
Lived with parents 1880 New Jersey > Union > Elizabeth > District 173
Dates of B/D on granite monument.
