Cemetery, Paterson, NJ. John died 15 October 1931, Passaic, Passaic Co., New Jersey, Buried: Sect. 8, L. 121, Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson, NJ. Mr. Totten ran the family grocery/dry goods business in Passaic, New Jersey.. The family lived at 171
Jefferson St. in Passaic in 1899. John and his wife lived at 260 Gregory Ave. Apt. A8 in 1930. The business building was demolished c. 1924 to make way for the building of the New Jersey Bank. Mr. Totten was an insurance agent in Passaic in 1901.
Possibly had a son named Charles W. Totten. See photo of business c.1895. Jennie: Died at 41 years, 9 months, and 16 days according to cemetery records. Lived on River Street in Passaic at that time. Henryette: Lived at 627 E. 27th Street, Paterson at
the time of her death. There
is some confusion about the date - 3/15/39 or 3/13/35.
