Notes for William MCLEAN

photo request for Oakland Memorial Cemetery
Bea gave me your name and said that I might be able to get you to photograph the headstone and/or memorial plaque for Rev. William McLean,b. 1794 in England, and d. 30 Aug 1844, AR (the next time you are in that cemetery). I found his memorial on
findagrave that he was buried in this cemetery. I understand from my research that his son, Leander, provided him with either a memorial plaque or headstone. His wife was Abigail Clark McLean. The reason I am researching him is that he married my
ggg-grandfather and grandmother Alexander McLean and Frances McLean, plus there have been several references to him in my reasearch of this family name. I am thinking he might have been Alexander's brother or cousin. Any help you might give me would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Lana McLean Carpenter
