Notes for Sarah MEEKER

15. Sarah Meeker d. by 20 Feb 1792.
C.C.Gardner, at page 63, writes: "It is possible that she was a second wife, and mother of only a part of his children. The will of Abraham's father-in-law Daniel Meeker mentioned Abraham Clark's daughter "by his present wife." On 20 Oct. 1765 letters
of Administration on the Estate of Abraham Clark were granted to Benjamin Marsh, at the request of the widow, Sarah Clark.

Sarah Clark of Rahway [although the transcripe states "Rokckaway"], widow, made her will Feb.7, 1787 and it was probated Feb. 20, 1792. It names her great granddaughter Harriott Stagg, children Ziporah Scudder and Ezekiel Clark, and grandchildren,
Abraham Clark Scudder, Phebe Wood Scudder, and Sarah Clark Elston. The executors named were friend Abraham Clark and son-in-law John Scudder. Abraham Clark refused to serve, and John Scudder died [9 October 1791], so Andrew Elston was appointed sole
executor.
*****
Oddly, Rahway Public Cemetery has a grave for: Sarah, Husb. Abraham Clark, d 2 June 1804.
Who is this woman?
