Notes for John CLARK

C.C. Gardner, page 153, says he was probably born at Springfield; said to
have gone west in papers of CC Gardner.
However, his father bequeaths money to John's children in his will, so John
(above) may have died young. A reading of the will of John Clark (1814) may
confirm or deny this theory.
He probably was the one referred to as "John Clark, Jr." who witnessed a deed
between his brother Abraham and Brooks Roll in 1803.
