David,
Thank you sooo much for all your help!! Earlier in the day I had
located images of the 1850 census from Livingston county NY which showed
Nathaniel, Phebe, and children. I am not sure exactly what info you
would like from me regarding the Dean line. That is the line I have
been tracing and I can put together that lineage from Nathaniel down to
my son. One of Nathaniels sons Mortimer is my ggGrandfather who fought
with the 148th NY volunteers and was wounded in battle is burried in
Adrian MI. I am lucky enough to visit there in 2 weeks time and I cant
wait to see his grave site. I also believe that Oliver (another son of
Nathaniel and Phebe) was with the 136th NY volunteers and fought at
Gettysburgh. Very exciting. Anyway, if you would like me to layout the
Dean lineage for you I would be glad to do it (if that is what you are
looking for).
Why not stay with biology? I must say that sometimes I wish I had
pursued history, but hey hobbies don't always make the best professions.
Once again thanks a million for all your help-I am indebted to you. If
you want the Dean lineage just let me know.
Best regards,
Timothy
