Made his will 14 June 1794, in which he named his wife and children.
Witnessed by John B. Clark, Fanna Baker, and Jesse Clark.
Son William Hays swore to be the executor on 12 January 1811.
Admitted to probate 12 January 1811.
Mr. Hays's death is noted in the Westfield Funeral Register with note, "age
upwards of 90 years or 100."
