See marriage bond copy from NJSA in files dated 5 June 1769. Noah Clark and
John Taft of Springfield, Essex County, New Jersey signed a note for five
hundred pounds due to the governor if there was any impediment to the
marriage. Thomas Andrews witnessed the document. William Franklin = governor
