Notes for John SQUIRE

John does not appear in lists compiled by members of the family; he is shown
in Honeyman, Hist. Union County, II, page 40, as the father of Jonathan, and
grandfather of William Crane Squier, the latter being the subject of the
Honeyman article. [Note: this is typical "County History" and not considered
reliable]. He is named in his father's will for 6 shillings.
John died intestate. Estate adminstered by wife Hannah 14 August 1777.
