Notes for Sarah TROTTER

Sarah, daughter of Benjamin (-Samuel ?,-William) Trotter, could trace her ancestry back to William Trotter of Newbury, Massachusetts. Benjamin Trotter left a beautifully written will in which he mentions his father William, which is worth viewing.
The marriage between William Clark and Sarah Trotter most likely took place in Elizabethtown or Southampton circa 1709.

In the Westfield Colonial Cemetery near her stone is one which seems to belong to the Clark group. It has the date 1737, and may say "Isiah" on it [July 2006]
