Notes for John Miller CLARK

Mr. Clark is in the 1860 Census of Westfield with wife Maria and John M.C.
Marsh (18) and Anna M. Marsh (16). In the 1850 census he is listed with the
same children, aged (8) and (6) respectively. They were the children of
Talmadge Marsh and Martha M. Clark and thus John and Maria's grandchildren.

Possibly founder of Methodist Church in Westield 1851. Services were held in
his orchard and hotel until a church could be constructed.
