Notes for (Azariah?) CLARK

There is a person of this name buried in the Scotch Plains Baptist Cemetery
with wife Janet Barber (1800-1860). Although there are no dates on the stone
for Azariah, it may be the above person. There is a mortgage listed in Union
County from Azariah Clark and wife Jane T. to Levi Hetfield in 1859 (Book 2,
p. 75) that may be the above person. The Greaves papers state that this
Azariah was the son of Timothy Clark, however, and this is also likely.
